What this means

The registration number is well-formed but does not correspond to an active sales tax registration. Digital invoicing presupposes registration, so nothing can be submitted until this is resolved.

Why it happens

• The registration is an income tax NTN without a sales tax registration attached.
• The sales tax registration was suspended or cancelled.
• A group or parent entity's number was configured rather than the operating entity's.

How to fix it
