SN001·Standard rate goods sold to registered buyers
Goods at standard rate (default)Submit this string verbatim. FBR compares the sale type literally — a normalised, retyped, or re-cased variant is rejected even when everything else on the line is correct.
What it covers
An ordinary taxable supply between two registered businesses. The buyer can claim the tax you charge as input credit against their own output tax, which is why registration status matters to them commercially as well as to FBR.
Who needs to test this
Almost every business activity and sector, with the exception of some sector-specific registrations. If you sell taxable goods to businesses, this is your primary scenario.
Payload notes
- Buyer registration type is Registered, and the buyer's registration number must be present and verifiable.
- The excluding-tax sales value carries the taxable base; the retail price field stays at zero.
- Sales tax is the rate applied to the sales value.
- Further tax is zero, because the buyer is registered.
Common pitfalls
- Declaring the buyer registered when FBR's records say otherwise fails the invoice regardless of what your customer told you.
- The rate must be the exact description string from FBR's rate reference data, not a percentage you formatted yourself.
