What this means
Extra tax applies to certain sale types. Where it applies the field must carry a value, and where it does not it must be empty. It is one of the few fields that can fail in both directions.
Why it happens
- The field was omitted on sale types where extra tax is expected.
- A blanket zero was applied without regard to sale type.
How to fix it
- 1Make the field conditional on sale type rather than applying one rule globally.
- 2Check the reduced-rate constraint, where a value must not be present at all.
