0067·The note value exceeds the original invoice

Debit & credit notesOccasional

What this means

A note adjusts an invoice; it cannot adjust more than exists. FBR compares quantity, value, and each tax amount against the original and rejects any that is larger.

Why it happens

  • A full-value note was issued against an invoice already partly adjusted by an earlier note.
  • Quantities on the note were not restricted to those on the original.
  • The note referenced the wrong invoice.

How to fix it

  1. 1Track cumulative adjustments per invoice, not just the original amounts.
  2. 2Restrict note lines to items and quantities present on the original.

How Ordyoo handles this

Notes are constructed from the referenced invoice's own lines, with quantities capped at what remains unadjusted.
